The exhibition Take on Trust held at Grimsby's newest contemporary art space - turntable gallery -represents an exciting opportunity to both rediscover works of art from Grimsby’s rich artistic heritage and to begin a new dialogue with artists working today. Students on Franklin College’s Art Foundation course have all selected one work from The Franklin Trust Art Collection to act as stimulus for a new piece of art or design. The Franklin Trust Collection was assembled over many years as a permanent collection of art by artists from Grimsby and the surrounding area.
